Professional art installation and picture hanging is what we do . While we prefer to be part of the placement discussion, we can also just put pictures where you want them. We like to tackle heavy or challenging installations, into all types of wall constructions. Hanging multiple pictures is our jam.
Placement and Hanging
We work with you to find the best location in your home for your precious art, pictures, mirrors and unusual objects. We usually start with a walk through the home, and a discussion on placement. Then we can work on one picture at a time or you or you can leave us to it.
I will explain which technique, and hooks or toggles we are using, as well the impact to the walls or surface.
Our hanging style uses two D-rings on each picture and two hooks or toggles. No string or wire is our preference; this enables us to hang works level and flat on the wall, no annoying crooked pictures!
We can also fill and disguise any impact to your walls that have resulted from previous hanging attempts.
Hanging only
Sometimes clients know exactly where they want the art placed, but don’t have the technical knowledge or products to do the job, we are more than happy to just be a technician.
Frame and glass cleaning
Drawing on decades of Picture framing experience , Tony can clean the glass , disguise frame damage and re tape backing to keep insects and dust out of your artwork. we can advise on the condition of your artwork ( specifically works on paper) old or poorly specified framing is the leading cause of damage to fragile works. Sometimes sentimental connections to art are more important than value. Heirloom or willed down art can be very important to keep safe for future generations. We can recommend Picture framers if required .
3D Printed Hardware
We can Design and 3D print custom hardware for bespoke hanging situations. Perfect for getting any unusual objects , sporting equipment and memorabillia up on display.
